ICF In Search of Field Director

The Executive Committee of the Central Council recently approved the hiring of a full-time Field Operations Director. In response to this directive, Grand President James Jones has appointed an ad-hoc committee to find the ideal candidate. Committed to positive future growth for our organization, we are moving forward to accomplish this goal. Requirements And Qualifications of the Field Operations Director

Description:

The Field Operations Director is a full-time, independent contractor who reports to the Executive Committee of the Central Council of the Italian Catholic Federation. Upon successful completion of a one-year contract, the position is renewable at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

Responsibilities:
* Explore expansion opportunities and open new branches
* Work with Bishops, Clergy and church personnel to introduce the Federation and open branches
* Keep existing branches open and viable
* Work with branches to increase membership
* Assist branches faced with serious challenges that threaten the survival of the branch
* Enhance the general organizational health of the Federation
* Attend Executive Committee meetings monthly and/or provide a written report of activities monthly
* Attend quarterly Central Council meetings and the Annual Convention

Qualifications:
* Excellent leadership, organizational, communications and time management skills
* Excellent public speaking skills and ability to motivate people
* Experience in sales and marketing is desirable
* Ability to work with people of all ages
* Ability to work with Bishops, Clergy and church personnel
* A minimum of five years experience with the Federation and working knowledge of the Federation's programs, structure and goals
* Under the direction of the Executive Committee, should be highly self-motivated and able to work independently
* Requires flexible hours and travel to all locations where the Federation is established or where it may be established by expansion of new branches. Travel expenses will be reimbursed under the rules established by the Executive Committee
* Experience with computer based applications: ie, Microsoft Outlook, email, Word, Excel
* Acceptance of a one year position, which will be reviewed annually
* Field Operations Director cannot be a Central Council Officer or a member of the Executive Committee
